FOOD DRIVE -Please remember that our food bin is located in the Temple Education lobby throughout the year.  You can place your kosher canned good items in our food bin at any time.  Donations are transported on a regular basis to the Open Door Food Shelter in Freehold and to Samaritan Center in Manalapan.  It is a mitzvah to bring a can of kosher food and feed the hungry.  

 ESP-EARLY SHABBAT PRAYER AND    BIRTHDAY SERVICE – April 23, 2010  at 7:30PM

FRIDAY ,  TBS ALIVE  DATES FOR THE 2009-2010 YEAR ARE:  March 26 &  April 30  

 

                      TBS Alive.  7:30PM --An uplifting Shabbat  service with musical instruments, song and .  Come down and enjoy! Following services, there is an option to attend the Community kiddush and schmooze and then if you wish, you can attend Current events and the Jewish world with Rabbi Rothstein for a half hour at 8:40PM.

 

The world stands on three things- Torah, worship and acts of kindness(Talmud).  To give to Hatian Relief efforts, direct your charitable donation to the : Joint Distribution Committee, Haiti Earthquake Relief, PO Box 530, 132 E. 43Rd Street, NY, NY 10017.  For a perspective on the Haiti Disaster, see Rabbi Rothstein’s latest Reb on the Web.       

 

 TBS AT THE MOVIES- Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 7PM.  Join us to see the movie “Ushpizin”, a husband and wife with a criminal past change their lives by becoming ultra orthodox and then one day their past catches up with them...It is a film that will make you think.  Light refreshments will be served.  Temple Member:Free and Non-Members-$5. Please remember that our offices and building will be closed during the day on Fridays and will open on Friday for Friday evening services.  Please be sure to conduct all synagogue business Monday-Thursday.

 Thursday, April 14 from 4PM to 9PM- Sisterhood Vendor Sale.  Bring your friends.  Come and shop.  Purchase gifts for Mother's Day, Graduations and just because you feel like it for yourself!  There will be many vendors to choose from.

    Monday, March 29 at 7AM- Service For The First Born and Burning of the Chametz.  Last sale of Chametz is 9AM on March 29.

    Wednesday, March  31 at 7AM-Passover Services

    Friday, April 2 at 8PM- Shabbat and Passover Services

    Saturday, April 3 at 9:30AM-Shabbat and Passover Services

    Monday, April 5 at 7AM-Passover Services

    Tuesday, April 6 at 7AM-Passover and Yizkor Services

 

The building will be closed for the Passover break with the exception of the above listed services from Monday, March 29 through Tuesday, April 6.  Please note that if there is an emergency, please call 732-446-1200 and a direct  emergency number will be listed.
